Verve Card

Verve Card Hello dear friends and fellow crafters!

I guess it's time to turn my planet back into it's normal messy state.  Haha!

Verve, one of my favorite stamp brands, is currently hosting 4 challenges for their April Release.  Tonight, I was able to do one of the challenges.  I've always liked to participate in their challenges whenever I can.  Their card sketches are really cool and they keep my creative juices flowing.

I decided to take a different approach with this card and used a different fold. The fold is actually in the bottom, and the top right label die keeps the card closed. I embossed the sentiment with gold powder. As for the label on the left, I couldn't throw the small piece that I

cut off, so I attached it on the right edge instead.

 Materials used:
Verve Serenity
Verve Filigree Fantasy
Fiskars border punch
EK Success border punch
Black Memento ink pad
Gold embossing powder
Clear embossing ink
Nestabilities Labels 1 and 4
Leftover gold ribbon
Michael's gold bead sticker
Gold Stickles

You might want to try their challenges (click here).  The fun thing is that you don't have to use Verve stamps.  Who knows, you might win a gift certificate to the Verve Online Store and finally own your own Verve stamps.  You can also check out their blog here.
