Simplicity

I hope you're all enjoying the 3-day weekend.  Before I head back to spending time with family, I would like to share with you this card I made this morning.  It's my first time to try the mirror image technique using a brayer.  And because it's my first take, I chose a simple image from the Unity "Gratitude = Joy" set.

To achieve the "mirror image", I inked my stamp then rolled a brayer over it.  After that, I transfer the image by rolling the brayer over white cardstock.  Once the image is there, I placed the negative from which I cut my yellow circle, and sprayed over the image using Spray Art.  Then I colored around it with Copic markers.

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  Paper Reflections, Wassau, origami paper
image/sentiment:  Unity
ink:  Tsukineko, Copics, Sprayart
tools:  Spellbinders, Martha Stewart edge punch, Sprayart
embellishments:  brads
adhesive:  Scotch, mounting tape

'Til next blog!
