Happy Mother's Day

Hello crafty friends!  I was in hiatus for about a couple of weeks, and it sure feels great to finally be able to play in my planet.  It's still in good and orderly condition - which is total proof of my absence.

Anyway, Mother's Day is fast approaching.  And as always, DH reminded me to make a card for DMIL.  Even though I was on break, I was still able to acquire some new tools and supplies from my favorite stores.  For this card, I was able to use my new embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The embossed card front was inked and sprayed with Shimmer Spritz.

The title is embossed, with machine stitching around it.  Then the remaining thread I fed through a flower sequin.  The background image was stamped on Fantasy Fiber.

I just had to show the stitching on my card... I'm very happy with it.

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  Recollections, Best Occasions, My Mind's Eye
image/sentiment:  Technique Tuesday, Unity
ink:  Tsukineko, ColorBox
tools:  Cuttlebug, Janome Sew Mini, Spellbinders
embellishments: K & Co., Fantasy, Fiber, flower sequin
adhesive:  Scotch, Glue Dots, mounting tape

By the way, I'd like to share with you my projects from the past three months.  If you have more time, you can check them out by clicking here.

'Til next blog!
