I admit. I'm a sucker for Asian craft stuff.
During the last HSN National Craft Month show, I didn't care for the products by Martha Stewart, Anna Griffin, Becky Higgins, We R Memory Keepers, or any other. But when I saw this, I knew I had to get it.
I have been busy making wedding invitations for a friend of mine, that I felt I needed a break and do something different. So after cutting and embossing 160 pieces of cardstock, I decided to make a card with this new find.
I searched my stash for leftover washi paper, and ended up using the ones in blues. This card is called the Diamonds Kimono Card.
cardstock/dp: washi paper, Prima, Making Memories, leftovers
tools: Janome Sew Mini
To sum it up, these cards are easy to make. The only thing that's tricky is the sewing part. For this particular card, the Kimono involved 3/4" squares.
I had some leftover washi paper and decided to use a quick A2 card as well.
cardstock/dp: washi paper, Recollections, leftovers
I sure am happy. Now back to the wedding invites.
Happy Easter everyone... 'Til next blog!
