National Craft Month and Blog Candies

Hello everyone!  It's my favorite time of the year... well one of them.  It's National Craft Month!  And it has been my tradition to create something every day of the month in celebration of NCM.  And like last year, I'm inviting you to join me in creating.  If you do, you have a chance to win these blog candies:

Fancy Pants Bundle

This year, I'm teaming up with Claire of Kleirr's Kreation.  She's giving away 2 blog candies as well, which means 4 blog candies to be given away at the end of the month... wooot!!!

All you need to do is create something - anything crafty.  It can be a handmade card, scrapbook page, crochet project, cross-stitch, beaded jewelry...  as long as it's some kind of craft.  After all, it's National CRAFT Month.  Post it on your blog, and link it to the link tool at the bottom of this blog entry.  Claire and I are using the same link tool, so when you link your project through my blog, it will automatically show on the link tool in Claire's blog and vice versa.  Yes, you can post as many projects as you want AS LONG AS your project is created during National Craft Month, and your blog entry is dated from March 1 to 31 of 2011.  Another rule is you have to leave a comment in my blog and Claire's blog to be eligible to win.  Basically you make one project, and leave 2 comments (one for me and one for Claire).  Pretty simple, right? 

By the way, double posts will be deleted, as well as blog entries and projects that are not created from March 1 to 31.

I will be drawing two winners at the end of the month, and the winner will be determined through random.org.  If your name is drawn, you have 24 hours to respond.  And if you don't, I'll have to draw another name.

But I do have to remind you that the goal is to create, create, create to celebrate our time of the year as crafters.  The blog candies are just icing on the cake.

And for NCM's first day, here's my project:



I have lots of scrap paper and cardstock.  And I like to utilize them in projects like this one.  You can say it's a mini stationery set to write notes with.  The base I used is actually from a Korean seaweed snack.  I just thought it would be nice to recycle and use it for something crafty.

    Hello crafty friends! Just reminding you that YOU NEED TO SET YOUR BLOG ENTRIES TO PUBLIC so we can view your entries. Also, make sure to LINK THE BLOG ENTRY, and not the entire blog itself. I noticed some entries that I cannot view, and some entries that link to the entire blog, so I can't view the actual project entry. I will be deleting entries that are not set to public, and are linking to the actual blog this weekend. If you notice your link is gone, you can repost the correct link.
