Good morning crafty reader! I mentioned a week or so ago about organizing my leftover die cuts. I now have them organized in baggies according to color. But while I was going through them, I found several negatives of some punch out sheets. I thought I could use them for my cards.
So here's what I came up with:
Materials used:
cardstock/dp: Wassau, leftovers
image/sentiment: Verve
tools: edge punch (Fiskars, Martha Stewart, EK Success), Janome Sew Mini, corner punch, Spellbinders
embellishments: flowers, sentiment punch outs, Robin's Nest, rhinestones
adhesive: Scotch, Zots, mounting tape
love this use of negative space...
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is a great way to get these negatives used. I´ve done that very often too and even made a tut on it once some times back for someone, who was trying to get an idea for a class, shew as to make, so she used my tut for that, so I was pretty flattered then, that it was good enough for that . These cards looks great and it´s nice, when we´ve been able to use something soo well, that might have gone in the bin else isn´t it?.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute idea and a great way to up-cycle! Beautiful cards. TFS
