Comfort & Joy

Hello dear reader!  First, I'd like to thank crafty friends who has visited the Tinker Planet Facebook Page.  We reached the goal of 20 likes in less than a day... so cool!  I hope you can join us over there, if you haven't yet.

Today I'd like to share with you a quick and easy Christmas card using leftover dp:

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  Wassau, The Paper Company, leftovers
image/sentiment:  Stampin' Up
ink:  Tsukineko
tools:  EK Success punch, Janome Sew Mini
embellishments:  rhinestones
misc.:  embossing powder (Inkadinkado)
adhesive:  Scotch, mounting tape

I don't know why but lately I'm so into using the sewing machine for my card fronts.  And the more I sew on paper and/or cardstock, the more I'm loving my Janome Sew Mini.

'Til next blog!

A really beautiful card again Joan. Sewing on cards is one thing, I still have to try out, but it´s sooo much work to get my big sewingmachine digged out, so I never bother to do that, I´m afraid, but I hope to try it, when I get my much bigger room, so I don´t have to have things hidden so much away anymore LOL
I´m sorry I´m not one of those who can help you on Facebook, as I´m not onthere anymore, and when I wanted to leave there after some really bad expiriences a few years ago, I got a mail from them, that I wasn´t wanted there anymore and could never get inthere again ever LOL, so you´ll have to do with my back up inhere, I´m afraid.
Have a great day hun.

Beautiful card - I want to learn how to sew, not only because it looks awesome on paper but I have 'stuff' I want to make. I'll have to check out the Janome Sew mini. TFS
