Happy Halloween

Hello crafty friends!  I always look forward to Halloween as I enjoy handing out goodies to kids trick-or-treating.  This year, I just made simple goodie bags.  I bought orange plastic bags, and a bunch of halloween cards which I cut in half to adhere on the bags.  But I made sure to make it extra special with some embossed images and Copic coloring.

In this picture, you can actually see the card front.  I just stamped the fangs and drew the eyebrows.

Here, you can see the back of the card, which I just stamped with the eyes and fangs.

This is the third design, using a ghost halloween card.

I like to put out halloween decorations as well, but I enjoy carving pumpkins the most.  Since I was busy with craft shows the past three weeks, I only found time to carve three pumpkins last night.  The designs are from the Pumpkin Carving cartridge by Cricut.

Good morning crafty reader!  I mentioned a week or so ago about organizing my leftover die cuts.  I now have them organized in baggies according to color.  But while I was going through them, I found several negatives of some punch out sheets.  I thought I could use them for my cards.

Magical (Altered Starbucks Card 2)

Hello crafty friends!  It's going to be another busy week for me as I prepare for another craft show.  I'm really starting to get a hang about this routine.  The wonderful comments that people give about my work make my heart swell, and receiving them in person makes it a lot more special.  Each time a card leaves my hands, I give it one last look and silently say goodbye. 

After this weekend, I can breathe freely and focus more on my participants for my World Card Making Day celebration.  I haven't forgotten about you, and I have seen all your cards.  It's just that I haven't had the time to leave comments yet.  And I will.  For now, I would like to thank you all for celebrating with me.  You know, this kind of thing is an annual Tinker Planet event.  And then there's National Craft Month in March and National Scrapbooking Day in May.  And let me tell you a little secret.... I'm planning on doing something special for Christmas too.

Hello crafty friends! I was busy making some more cards yesterday for today's craft show.  And during the event, I realized that I forgot to take photos of my new cards. Some of them I have sold already. What a bummer!  

Anyway, here's a christmas card I made using one of my favorite pens called POPCORN PENS by Kodomo.  

You basically use this pen to color your image and blast it with a heat gun. The ink just puffs like magic. And the best thing about it is that there is no waiting time.  The more you heat it, the more it puffs out.  I just love it!

Hello everyone!  I forgot that I have a drawer meant for "misc. die cuts".  I looked through them today and I was amazed at the many die cuts I found.  Some were from swaps, and some were extras that I have cut from before.  Some were already stamped with images, embossed even.  While some were already inked on the edges.  I can't believe I have neglected them for quite some time.  So I laid them on my craft desk and arranged them according to color.  And now my mind was racing on how many cards I can make with them. 

Anyway, here's a quick card I made using my leftover die cuts:

Time to Relax!

Hello everyone! Believe it or not, I'm enjoying doing house chores at the moment... haha!  Last week was super busy, and I'm glad I can just relax and do more normal stuff.

Christmas in October

Hello crafty friends!  This weekend was super busy.  In fact, I'm just stealing some time here and I'll have to go back to work for a couple more hours.
