Thank U

The Changito stamp line was very popular many years ago, and it seems like Frantic Stamper is the only one who carries them anymore.  I know these monkeys were by Stampendous, but I don't see them in their website.  What I like about my "You've Been Crafted" project is that I get to use images that have been buried in boxes for quite a while.  It makes me sad to find out that some are no longer being sold.  I'm glad that someone still has these monkeys.

The background stamps are, I think, Stampers Anonymous... if not Tm Holtz.  Definitely one of my favorites.

More Random Cards

Hello crafty reader!  This is going to be a very quick post.  Just want to share with you three cards from my "You've Been Crafted" project during lockdown.

My favorite part here is using the dimensional stickers I dug from one of my drawers.  I'm not sure if they still exist in the market, but I would love to have more of them.

I am glad that House Mouse stamps are still out there.  I have a collection, but this one here is from an image swap.  I have to admit, it is a challenge to color these images.

Here is another image our exchange student from Japan colored.  I love the color combination in this card a lot.

Random Birthday

Hello crafty reader!  For this set of cards, it's all about birthdays.  They don't have a pattern like the previous ones, but some of them have a story.

See the frame on this card?  I'ts actually the negative of the background stamp from the first two sets of cards I have previously posted.  I like how the inking on the edges made a huge difference.  And yes, most of the images are from a stamp catalog.

The following cards are extra special.  Four years ago, we had an exchange student from Japan who's so talented and creative.  Her drawings and sketches are so awesome!  One time, I asked her to color some stamped images I got from an image swap, using Copic markers.  And here are some of them.

Happy Birthday

Hope you're hanging in there, crafty reader!  It seems like things are slowly going back to normal, at least where I'm from.  Funny how we take things for granted when they are just right in front of you because we are too busy with everyday life.  Now that we have all this time in our hands, we see how valuable small things are.

For this next set of cards, I used the same background stamp from my last post.  But instead, I used the same Happy Birthday stamp as well.  I got a bunch of this from an image swap ages ago, and now is the time to use them.

See the background cardstock used in this card?  It's actually from a stamp catalog I got from the one and only CHA convention I attended in Anaheim, CA.  I actually salvaged a lot of images from the catalogs and used them in my series of "lockdown cards".  I'm pretty sure you'll be able to pinpoint some.

I sure love these stickers I found buried in my craft space.  The possibilities are endless!
