Hello crafty reader! I am trying to totally clean up clutter on my craft desk. And as I was doing that, I few questions popped in my mind like:
Why is it such a difficult task?
Why can't I throw this away?
Didn't I already throw this away?
Where will I put this?
And believe me, I have been better. I have gotten rid of a good number of supplies and RAKed them to friends or donated to the art class in our high school. And I'm planning to donate some more to our local library. All I need to do is to overcome this "attachment" to all these craft tools and supplies that I no longer use. Close your eyes, do a yoga lotus pose, and say "Uhmmmmmm" with me....
Let's see if that will work.
Anyway, as I was "cleaning up", I saw a bunch of 6x6 monogram pages I made years ago.
I really have no use for them as scrapbook pages, so I got rid of the letter "O" and cut the background with Spellbinders dies to use for quick A2 cards. Then I put all six cards and envelopes in a metal holder which originally came with a Bath and Body Works gift pack.
To set the cards well on the metal holder, I put a strip of plastic packaging cut to size on the base.
Materials used:
cardstock/dp: Wassau, leftovers
tools: Spellbinders, Martha Stewart edge punch, corner punch
embellishments: ribbon, brads
misc.: metal holder, leftover plastic packaging
adhesive: Scotch, Zots, mounting tape

By the way, my Sing For Joy card was chosen as one of the award winners for last week's "Notions-Seamstress" challenge in the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog. That made me smile first thing on a Saturday morning. Thank you Chris!
'Til next blog!
