Crazy Weather

Thanks to a couple of snow storms last week, I was able to relax and enjoy free time at home for five days.  But it's back to work for me today, and the time sure flew by really quick.  There are still thousands of people without electricity in Northern Michigan due to the big storm this weekend, and I'm thankful that our area was not affected.  The weather system has been really crazy in the US lately, with 47 tornadoes hitting a bunch of states in just one week.  Does it mean anything?  I don't want to know, really.

Anyway, this post is going to be short.

During my recent trip to California, a dear cousin gave me a really nice leather tray that she made.

It's good to store car keys or lose change, or accessories...  even my DH can use it for sure.

I have a bunch of leather bought from Japan, still in storage.  And when I saw this tray, I was like... why didn't I think of that???  I can even make the same tray using cardstock.  All I need to do is start.

By the way, Susan Pickering Rothamel, owner of US Art Quest, will be on HSN again tomorrow.  At 8 am, she'll be showcasing the Dicrofiber Fabulous Kit, and at 5 pm she'll be featuring the Decorative Napkin Collage Kit.  If you're outside the US, you can still watch her live at hsn.com

That's it for now.  I'm going to relax for the rest of the night, and I'll catch you all tomorrow.

'Til next blog!
