Catching Up

So again, I was busy with school year-end events at work.  But the last one took place Friday night, and a couple more weeks and it's summer break for me.... woot!!!

Anyway, yesterday I helped a good friend make a Disney scrapbook to give to her DMIL, whose birthday is today.  I guess one proof of us being friends is that we tend to do things last minute... hee hee!  The album was 8 x 8 (thank God!) with 20 pages.

To make the long story short, we worked on the scrapbook for 4 hours - utilizing a scrapbook kit she bought from Disney World, a pack of card stock, her Cricut and Xyron sticker machine, several 3D stickers and some of my tools.  I sure had a great time catching up with her, and at the same time catching up with crafting.

My only regret was forgetting my camera at home.  These pictures were taken with my celphone.  The quality doesn't give the actual project much justice, but I'm sharing you some of them anyway.

My favorite page of the bunch.

Hooked - showing more detail

Another favorite, about my favorite Disney park.

The irony is - I have been to Disneyland in Tokyo, California and Florida several times, and I haven't made a single scrapbook page about any of them.  I should.... someday.

'Til next blog!
