I promised a friend of mine that I will make a St. Patrick's scrapbook page of her baby girl. I know it's almost a month after the fact, but better late than never. It's just that when it comes to scrapbooking, the planning stage always take time. I wish I can do what a lot of scrapbook personalities on TV or craft channels on the internet. When I watch their videos, putting together a scrapbook page seems so easy. That's not the case for me, considering I started out as a scrapbooker. Maybe I just think too much.
But before I show you my latest scrapbook page in forever, I'd like to share with you my latest find:
I blogged about the Stamping Gear in ovals and circles last year (Geared Up), and I used it in one of my cards for Oozak in September. When I saw the ones in square and rectangle at Joann's, I got really excited.
And that new tool was my inspiration to make this scrapbook page. I won't be able to stamp around a 12 x 12 cardstock like that without the Stamping Gear. And I'm glad.
Materials used:
cardstock: Bazzil, leftovers
image/sentiment: Studio G, My Sentiments Exactly
ink: Stampin' Up
tools: Inkadinkado Stamping Gear, Martha Stewart, Cuttlebug embossing folder
embellishments: chipboard alpha (DCWV), stickers, flower w/ bling
misc.: embossing powder, journaling stencil
adhesive: Scotch, Glue Dots, mounting tape
In the next photo, you can see I included an insert for journaling.
These images were stamped and heat embossed, then cut with Spellbinders.
Yes, I'm on a roll.... 'til next blog!
