Wooden

One of my co-workers retired a few weeks ago.  Although it was a last minute thing, I volunteered to make a card for everybody to sign and give to him.  I had a couple wood grain embossing folders that were perfect for this card, since the company I now work with is in the lumber business.  There was also some other embossing designs I was able to use that could go with the theme.  The size is 5.5 x 11 inches, so there's lots of room for everybody to sign.

The sentiment in the front is by River City Rubber Works.  I find their sentiments unique and I try to avoid visiting their website because I tend to splurge when I do.

The sentiment on the inside is from one of my favorite Stampin' Up sets.  I tried to look for it in the website, but couldn't find it.  Maybe it's retired too.

See the inside trim in the bottom?  It's actually a remnant of a wall paper sampler, also used from the Valentine goodie chest a friend and I made in February (click here to see).

I'm relieved that my co-workers liked the card.  I hope the recipient did too.
