Hello reader!  How has the new week been so far?  Mine started out really well, and I hope it stays that way for another six days.

Here's a quick card I made with one of the card fronts I cut with Cricut a while back.  I have those cuts handy for my "just in case" periods when I'm busy with other things.  No stamping in this card, just bling and layers.  Maybe I overdid with the rhinestones... but oh well.  I guess it's just one of those days.

Key to the Future

Hi reader!  This weekend and the coming ones are mostly for graduation parties in our area, following yesterday's graduation ceremony.  It was a simple ceremony for proud graduates, parents, family members and friends.

And speaking of graduation parties, here's another graduation card I made.  It's the same size and style as yesterday's, only with a different design.  This time, I used a dollar stamp by K & Co.  Let me tell you a secret - the dp on the card front was used as a wrapping paper for a gift I received from another crafty friend.  It is just perfect for our high school colors.

Good Things Are Worth The Wait

It's almost graduation time for most high school seniors this year.  Ours is actually today.  And usually after that come the many graduation parties.  We have been invited to several ones, which gives me a good reason to make happy graduation cards.

Here's my first grad card, meant for our school's valedictorian.  I know that she really worked hard for this highest achievement, and I'm very glad that she reached her goal.  And because our school mascot is a cardinal, I used the cardinal stamp from the Sing for Joy set by Our Daily Bread Designs.  The image is colored with Copic markers.

I used a whole 8.5 x 11 cardstock for this card, folded in such a way where a small gift can be inserted inside.

Season Under Heaven

Hello everyone!  My card today is for the Our Daily Bread Designs "Card Sketch Challenge".  I am a regular gazer at the OBDB blog and have always wanted to try their challenges.  I am a fan of their stamps as well, and I will never forget that one time I visited their space in a scrapbooking/stamping show last year.

That's whay I'm excited that I'm able to make a card for their challenge this week.  This is also one of those rare times that I made a square card.

For a little twist, I made a tri-fold card.

A Little Late

We are now past the first half of the year.  Can you believe it?  Time does fly quick.  There are so many things we want to do, yet so little time.  If I can delete something about my humanity, it would be sleep.  Imagine all the things I can do with those hours that I normally consume for sleeping.... yeah, right.

Anyway, here's my first project for the month of June.  It's a belated birthday card for my Aunt in California.  She's one of the best, and I truly miss her.  I didn't use any embellishments because I intend to mail this card.

I played with a retired Stampin' Up set called Watercolor Garden and Minis.  After inking, I misted the rubber with water then stamped on my cardstock.
