Colored

Coloring is as far as I can get, if you even consider it crafting.  But really, the colored pages can be used as a background for a scrapbook page or a card front.  It's like a stamped image on a much bigger scale.  

Whoever thought of adult coloring books... thank you for helping me get through this point of my life!

Spirographed

So... DH gave me a spirograph for Christmas.  It's my first ever.  And I love it!  And I'm starting the year with it, on the couch.

I used gel pens for these.  Didn't realize how challenging this can be.  It took me a few tries to make an almost perfect spirograph. I'll use this to make cards one of these days....  a card set would be great!

Christmas Cookie

I know it's been months since my last post.  I've been busy with RL stuff that I don't even have time to play in my craft room.  But I hope you're all having a great Christmas season.  No, I didn't make Christmas cards this year.  I sent store bought ones.  However, like usual we opened presents on Christmas day.  And I received something really crafty from my DSIL.

How much work does it take to make this one cookie???  It is so adorable, I didn't want to eat it.  I wish I could keep it forever.  I will hold on to it as long as I can, then I'll let DH have it.

Bugged

I am bugged with laziness.  Well not really.  But I have been very lazy.  There is something that I have been yearning for, and it seems like I'll never have it.  So instead of sulking, I try to do something while being lazy on the couch.  And coloring is the answer right now.  Just like you, I've been buying adult coloring books.  And just like you, I have been buying coloring medium "only" for these coloring books.  Because Copics are too darn expensive.

Here's a page I was able to finish.  

I'm thinking I can use this for a handmade card someday.

Happy Mother's Day

Here's a quick card I made for DMIL, whom I love dearly.  This was a perfect chance to use some clear stickers I've been hoarding for quite some time.
