Favorite Scripture

It has been a while since I joined any challenges in the blog scene as I was busy with craft shows and other crafty events the past two months.  There will also be some exciting crafty stuff to take place this month, but I don't want to jinx it.

So I just want to share with you a card I made for the Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD47) from Our Daily Bread Designs Blog.  For this rotation, the challenge is to use your favorite scripture on a card.  And of course, you have to use an ODBD stamp.  Browsing through my ODBD collection, I picked a stamp from the Scripture Collection 2 set.

This scripture reminds me to keep my foot in the ground no matter what the circumstances.

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  Wassau, Recollections, leftovers
image/sentiment:  Our Daily Bread Designs
ink:  Tsukineko, Stampin' Up
tools:  Spellbinders, Janome Sew Mini
embellishments:  Prima flowers, pearls
adhesive:  Scotch, Zots, mounting tape

This challenge will last until November 16th, so there's lots of time for you to give it a shot.  Go to the ODBD Blog for more info.

'Til next blog!

What a beautiful card. The flowers to frame the verse adds texture and dimension. Beautiful colors and design. The verse is certainly a good reminder.
blessings,
Chris
