Happy Monday crafty reader! I made sure to enjoy my last day of "freedom" before I return to my normal routine tomorrow. That includes playing in my planet. It sure makes a difference when your craft room is clean and orderly - your creative juices start flowing... somehow.
For this card, I used an embellishment which I discovered in November in one of the classes I took during the Deer Widows Weekend Scrapbooking and Stamping Show in Birch Run. It's called Prills by US Art Quest.
Originally, they had the pearlish white colored ones in a big jar. But during the November show, they released mini jars with various wonderful and striking colors.
So for my card today, I played with Prills. For application, all you need to do is a fine brush and any clear drying adhesive. In my case, I used US Art Quest PPA Matte glue. I have an option to color my Prills as I applied them on my stamped image. But since it's my first time to use it by myself, I decided to use it as it is.
Materials used:
cardstock/dp: DCWV, Paper Pizazz, leftovers
image/sentiment: Unity
ink: Ranger, Stampin' Up, Tsukineko
tools: Spellbinders, Janome Sew Mini
embellishments: Prills
misc.: embossig powder (American Crafts)
adhesive: PPA Matte (US Art Quest), Scotch, mounting tape
It seems like the Prills mini pots are not available on the US Art Quest website yet. But if you're excited to play with them, the original Prills will work great.
'Til next blog!
