Good One

A good one sure is hard to find.  A good of anything.  A good of anyone.  Just a few months ago, I met a good boss.  And as our current relationship draws to a close, I know that a new one will blossom.  I think this new one is going to be a lot better.  I made this card for the rest of my co-workers to sign and give to our good boss.

The embossed pieces on my card front are leftovers from my Ghirardelli Easter project.  I'm so glad I kept them because they are perfect for this card.

The background was achieved by a mix of Glimmer Mist (Coffe Shop and Robin's Egg Blue) and Smooch Spritz (Log Cabin) spray paints, then touched up with Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Barn Door, Tea Dye, Faded Jeans).

I also got to play with my latest acquisition:  EK Success Scroll Pattern Large edge punch.

Materials used:
cardstock:  Stampin' Up, Wassau
image/sentiment:  Stampin' Up
ink:  Ranger, Tattered Angels, Smooch Spritz
tools:  EK Success, Spellbinders
embellishments:  Bazzil flowers, USArt Quest Prills
adhesive:  Scotch, USArt Quest, Glue Dots, Sailor, mounting tape

I really enjoyed making this card.  My fingers are dirty... but I'm glad.  It's been a while.

'Til next blog!
