What?!?!? Ten days have passed since my last post?!?!? Time sure flies, especially when there's a lot going on. I'm so ready for Thanksgiving break.
Anyway, I was able to play in my planet after dinner. I made a birthday card for DSIL, who is having her special day tomorrow. It's also my first time to use La Blanche stamps... and for the Nth time in my crafty life, I fell in love.
I didn't do anything special with the stamping - just heat embossed it. But for the background, I wanted to achieve the quilt effect. So I actually had a thin sheet of foam under each piece of dp.
I also touched up the vellum with Copic markers to accentuate the image more, just around the edges of the underside..
Materials used:
cardstock/dp - Recollections, DCWV, vellum, leftovers
image/sentiment - La Blanche, Stampin' Up
ink: Tsukineko, Ranger, Copic
tools: Spellbinders, Janome Sew Mini
embellishments: rhinestones, ribbon
misc.: Ranger embossing powder
adhesive: Scotch, Glue Dots, mounting tape
'Til next blog!
