50

I made these invites for a cousin who's having her 50th birthday celebration.  It sure was a challenge because the colors she wanted were Apple Green and Fuschia.  I'm glad I have designer paper with these colors hiding in my stash.  I just had to maximize. Following one layout, I alternated the colors and the embellishments.  No two invitations are the same on this bunch.  I really liked this Spellbinders die from Anna Griffin's Lace Trimmings set.  The embossing right down the middle is also Anna Griffin's.  I wanted to have a whimsical feel to these invites, not trying to have the "perfect" look.

It's been a while since I made invitations with this quantity.  I'm glad I was able to finish them on time.

I'd have to say these invitations are an accomplishment.  With my busy RL schedule, I'm surprised I was able to make these cards myself.

'Til next blog!
