WCMD Card 5

Here's my card for Day 5.  I'm not very fond of this card, but I'm posting anyway.  The blue pieces are leftovers from a previous project, and I thought I could use them for a card.  I tried to achieve the "stained glass" look, but I don't think I was successful.  At least the background colors still complemented the colors of sentiment.

WCMD Card 3

Today's card features an image I got from an online swap years ago.  I believe it's from SplitcoastStampers.  It's the only online crafting community I was actively involved in.  My day wouldn't be complete without logging in and checking the boards.  I loved joining swaps, and I loved hosting swaps even more.  I wonder if swaps still take place nowadays.

Anyway, this is not my first time to use this image.  For this card, I colored the image with Copics.

The dots inside the circle were actually accidental.  I was taking off a cap from one of my Copic markers, and somehow the marker hit a spot.  Can you see the area where I tried to "erase" it?  It didn't work, so I just put dots all over.

WCMD Card 1

Although I have been bad about posting in my blog, I made sure to celebrate World Card Making Day all month of October.  I did prepare for this crafty event - having a pile of designer paper already cut as card fronts, and sentiments already cut for whatever card I make.  For my WCMD cards, I did a lot of recycling materials.

Today's card involves an image I got from an online swap years ago.  I accented it with Copics to match the layers.

I have confession.  When I was making this ribbon, I realized I was getting a bit rusty.  I have forgotten to make a bow using a bow maker (mine's Unity).  I had to search on Youtube to remind myself how this works.  Yikes!
