National Craft Month (Day 22)

Hello dear reader!  This is my project for today:

I'm sure you've seen them pierced through ribbons of handmade cards.  I decided to make a few today.  They are actually corsage pins I bought on sale in Walmart for $1.50 per box of 90.  The length of the pin itself is slightly less than 2 inches, a lot longer than basting pins you see in the sewing section of your local craft store.

They are really easy to make, as you just add the beads of your choice.  In this case, I put spacers and jewelry findings as well.  See the clear thingy in the bottom?  They are rubber earring backs by Darice.  When I pierce my bow, it will serve as a stopper and cover for the sharp end as well.

Join us for another week of crafting fun this National Craft Month.  The details are all in here.

'Til next blog!
