Mother's Day 2020

I hope this post is finding you safe, healthy and happy. Aren't you glad you have your crafts to keep you busy while staying at home to fight C-19? I sure am. My craft space is my sanctuary.

And I still have to get used to putting just one space after a period, since they have made it official. If you started typing with a manual typewriter, the rule of thumb is 2 spaces after a period. Not anymore.

Anyway, I am excited to show you my latest card for Mother's Day. The size is 5 x 7 and it features the Swivel & Pop Die Set by Anna Griffin.

I got this from HSN maybe a couple of years ago, and I finally got to use it. I was just going to get the card kit, but got sold out, so I bought the actual die. Most of the embellishments in the card are leftovers from the Anna Griffin Window Frame Card Making Kit.

The assembly was pretty easy. I was surprised it wasn't that bad. I bet there are tutorials to make this style of card from scratch, but having this die set eliminates all the measuring and eye balling.

When I showed it to my DH, he said I finally made something cool... hahaha!

I hope you have a good Mother's Day this weekend, and that you celebrate it safely too.  Here's to us mothers in the world!
