Eat Drink and Be Scary

How has your weekend been so far, dear reader?  It's been pretty warm in our area lately - 75 to 80 degrees, and I get to wear shorts and hang clothes out to dry.  Just lovely!

Anyway, here's another quick Halloween card I made recently:

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  @theoffice, leftovers
image/sentiment:  Studio G
ink:  Tsukineko
tools:  Martha Stewart edge punches, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders

adhesive:  Scotch, mounting tape

If you just happen to pass by, we're having some fun going on all month of October in celebration of World Card Making Day.  You'll get more info on the top of my right side bar.

More Christmas Humor Cards

Hello crafty friends!  First, I'd like to thank you for joining in our World Card Making Day celebration this month of October.  One week has passed and we have given away 2 blog candies so far.  More to come, so keep checking in and linking your handmade cards for more chances to win.  For more information about this fun event, just click on the link at the top of my right side bard.  We'd love more participants, so if you can share this with your friends, that would be uber great!

Today, I'd like to share a few quick Christmas humor cards I made recently.  I used bumper stickers from a book called "Be Naughty:  Save Santa the Trip".  Here are 5 of them:

Just a reminder, I had to delete some entries because their cards were dated in September.  The cards you'll upload for our blog candies should all be dated October 1-31.  Please read the instructions carefully by clicking here.

Thoughts and Prayers

So I was almost done with a sympathy card, and guess what happens?  I accidentally drop an uncovered ink pad on it, leaving a black "very unwanted" mark on my card front.  But I didn't want to do the card all over again, and I definitely didn't want to throw it away.

Therefore, this card:

Materials used:
cardstock/dp:  leftovers
image/sentiment:  unknown/RAKed
ink:  Ranger, Tsukineko
tools:  Spellbinders, piercing tool
embellishments:  rhinestones
adhesive:  Scotch, mounting tape

I want to see more cards.  Upload yours and maybe you can win some blog candy.  You can see the link on the top of my right side bar for more info.
